Trio Elisse Sting Free Skin Barrier is a hypoallergenic silicone formula that builds a protective barrier between your ostomy wafer or base plate and your skin. It protects the skin from the strain caused by regular removal of your ostomy appliance. If stoma output comes into direct contact with skin that’s already sore and damaged, it can cause further irritation, so Elisse also protects the skin from corrosive body waste. Its quick drying time means you can build up layers if you need to, but it won’t leave sticky residue that you have to scrub clean during bag changes.

How to Use Trio Elisse Sting-Free Skin Barrier Spray
- After removing your ostomy wafer, ensure that your skin is clean and dry.
- Hold the can approximately 4-5 inches (10cm) away from skin and spray around your stoma where the adhesive wafer will go.
- Elisse can be used to build up layers of protection if required.
- Allow the skin to dry – this should only take a few seconds. Then place your pouch onto your skin and secure.
