Directions for Cleaning Prep
- Before starting the cleaning process with Surestep Foley Wipes, ensure proper setup.
- Wash your hands thoroughly and put on clean gloves.
- Place an absorbent pad or chux beneath the patient to catch any potential spills or drips.
- Take all 5 wipes from the pack and set them on the absorbent pad for easy access during the procedure.
- Keep the empty pack aside to refer to the directions if needed and to use the orange compliance sticker after completing the procedure.
Note: that the Foley catheter can remain secured throughout the cleaning process.
