Ostomy Flanges
Ostomy flanges, also called wafers or baseplates, connect the ostomy pouch to the skin barrier. A good flange needs to stick well, protect your skin, and shape to your body.
The CeraPlus Flat Cut-to-Fit Barrier works with New Image two-piece ostomy systems. It uses special Remois technology and natural ceramides to keep your skin healthy while maintaining a secure hold. This helps prevent skin irritation and damage around your stoma.
The SenSura Mio Convex has a curved shape that fits well on uneven skin areas. Its elastic design molds to your body, making it especially good for deep-seated stomas or those needing extra support.
The CeraPlus Soft Convex Barrier bends to fit uneven skin without coming loose. It has a special tape border that helps it stay in place, and you can cut it to fit your stoma size exactly. The floating flange connects to your pouch without pushing on your belly.
