The BobTail Drain Tube Adapter
The BobTail is an attachment to your Urostomy Pouch that allows you to more efficiently empty your bag throughout your day. It is made from medical grade plastics and rubbers to ensure optimal performance. We recommend cleaning the BobTail at the end of each day of use by running water through the system.
GV Solutions LLC guarantees the use of the BobTail® drain for up to 12 days. Use after that may result in failure. When inserting the BobTail drain into the urostomy bag, pushing and twisting too hard may compromise the connection with too much pressure and voids the guarantee.
The BobTail® device enables users to empty their urostomy pouches with a precision that has never existed before! Rather than pulling out the pouch from clothing, holding the bag, and opening the valve, simply pull out the BobTail® device, through the zipper, open the valve and empty. The BobTail® device is easily accessed and utilized whether it is continually attached or externally carried to be attached. It can be easily aimed into a commode, urinal, bottle, or other container if traveling.
Users of the BobTail® device find that they are far less anxious when it comes to emptying their bag in general but particularly so when in public. Men can simply walk up to a urinal, unzip, pull out the BobTail® device, empty, and close up, very much like normal. Ladies, can easily sit and empty instead of needing to stand up. This reduction of anxiety additionally increases the sense of normalcy that the BobTail® device provides for its users.

Instructions For Use
CONNECT: Simply connect the BobTail drain to your bag or pouch by pushing and twisting the connector (A) into the drain on the bag.
WEAR: Wear the BobTail drain all day if you choose (horizontally so that it easily comes out the zipper) or keep it in the provided bag until needed.
DRAIN: Simply pull out the Bobtail, remove the cap (D), aim, and open the valve (B) by pushing away from yourself. You can empty the bag standing or sitting, into a bottle, or toilet.
RETURN: When the urostomy bag is emptied, pull the valve (B) towards yourself to close, replace the cap (D), and return inside your clothing or to the provided bag.
CLEAN: Wash the BobTail drain daily with soap and water. Dry thoroughly before using again.
REPLACE: The BobTail drain must be replaced every 14 days with a fresh device.
