Use Skinister Medical Adhesive to safely attach medical devices to skin, including ostomy bags, breast forms, and condom catheters. The silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive is highly water-resistant to withstand perspiration, bathing, and swimming. It has exceptional sealing properties for ostomy and condom catheter applications. It’s odor-free, propellant-free, latex-free, and hypoallergenic. Skinister Medical Adhesive has a gentle release, making it suitable for everyday use, long wear times, and those with sensitive skin.
Skinister Medical Adhesive is the ideal replacement for the discontinued Hollister 7730 adhesive spray. Unlike its predecessor, Skinister Medical Adhesive is aerosol-free and can be safely applied directly to skin. It boasts up to 50% more adhesive strength when applied to both surfaces, offering superior strength and peace of mind.

How to Apply Skinister Medical Adhesive
- Prepare surfaces by washing with soap and water as needed, and allow to fully dry.
- Apply 1-2 light coats of adhesive to one or both surfaces. Skinister Medical Adhesive may be applied to skin, taking care to avoid mucous membranes (stomas), and any broken skin or wounds. Applying to both surfaces may significantly increase adhesion.
- Wait 5 minutes in between coats of adhesive, or after last coat of adhesive to allow adhesive to fully dry before applying appliance to skin. This allows solvent to evaporate and provides maximum adhesion. Trapped solvent is the most common cause of skin irritation, so this step is critical.
- Press and hold device against skin with moderate pressure for 60 seconds.
- Maximum strength achieved by applying pressure for several minutes.
