Shiley Flexible Disposable Inner Cannula (DIC)
Shiley Flexible Disposable Inner Cannulas make it easy and straight-forward to take care of your tracheostomy tube. Each disposable inner cannula (DIC) is individually packaged, sterile and latex free. These single-use cannulas are easy to use and allow quick and safe disposal. Choose the size you need in boxes of 10 for the most savings. Individual cannulas are also available.
A tracheostomy tube keeps the opening of a tracheostomy clear. It consists of an outer shaft (aka cannula) and a neck plate or flange. Many designs include a disposable inner cannula (DIC) that acts as a liner, helping prevent a build-up of mucus and making ostomy hygiene easier.
Shiley Flexible Inner Cannulas are required for use with the following tracheostomy tubes:
