Premier Soft Convex Cut-To-Fit One-Piece Drainable Pouch with Filter and Microseal Closure & Flextend Skin Barrier

The Premier Soft Convex is a one-piece drainable pouch with a convex barrier and soft, discreet ComfortWear panels for a natural, next-to-skin feel. The user is able to open the pouch from the bottom to empty the contents. For securing to the stoma, the Flextend barrier allows for extended wear, as well as improved viewing. These pouches are most suitable for colostomies or ileostomies.

  • Flextend Barrier – a more durable construction, remaining in place when coming in contact with fluid and resists erosion. Conforms to the body and includes a flap for better visibility that can be lifted to assess the stoma and its output or to better position the barrier.
  • Lock ‘n Roll Closure – a secure seal made by use plastic interlocking fasteners located at the bottom of the pouch
  • AF300 Filter – deodorizes the pouch’s contents while providing controlled, gradual release of gas
  • ComfortWear Panels – constructed out of soft materials that won’t chafe during use. Transparent material is located on the body-facing side, so you can continue to monitor its contents.

Common Questions About Lock ‘n Roll Closure

How do I know my pouch is securely fastened?

Aligning and pressing the center of the security flap to the outer edges will allow you to feel the interlocking fasteners seal and ensure your pouch is securely closed.

The material used on the closure is water-resistant and can be securely closed even when it is wet, but will work best when dry.

Laboratory testing has shown that the interlocking fasteners are secure when closed properly.

The material used on the closure is quiet and will not make a “ripping” noise when the security flap is opened.

How to Use Premier Soft Convex Cut-To-Fit One-Piece Drainable Pouch

  1. Measure the stoma using a stoma measuring guide before every barrier application.
  2. Trace the determined barrier size opening onto the skin barrier. The skin barrier should fit where the skin and stoma meet. Verify that no skin is showing between the skin barrier and the stoma to help prevent leakage and skin irritation.
  3. Using small curved scissors, carefully cut an opening in the skin barrier to match the pattern. Do not cut beyond the line on the release liner. Do not puncture the pouch.
  4. Remove the release liner from the skin barrier.
  5. Center the skin barrier opening over the stoma.
  6. Apply gentle pressure to the skin barrier for about a minute for best adhesion.
  7. Close the Lock ‘n Roll microseal closure at the bottom of the pouch.
  8. To remove, carefully lift an edge of the adhesive and peel downward, gently pushing the skin away from the skin barrier. Properly dispose of the used pouch. Do not flush down toilet.
  9. Clean the skin with water or with gentle soap as recommended by your healthcare professional. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use oils, powder, lotion, or lotion-type soaps on the skin.
