Description
New mothers strive to bond with their babies. However, certain factors, including dry, chafed skin around the nipples, can interrupt this process. Nursicare therapeutic breast pads present a solution. Using PolyMem® for its absorbent properties, Nursicare pads help heal sensitive nipples and breastfeeding sores with construction that’s friendly for both mother and baby.
How Nursicare Pads Work
PolyMem® is the key component of Nursicare Pads. For over 25 years, PolyMem® has helped heal a range of soft tissue injuries, including acute and chronic wounds. PolyMem® dressings utilize an absorbent membrane covered with a non-stick, breathable film, which contains fluid to reduce leaks and contamination and moves the healing process along.
Nursicare Pads Features:
Create an ideal environment for sore, chafed or cracked nipples to heal quickly and reduce friction and abrasion to prevent the condition from worsening.
Use ingredients safe for your baby to be exposed to. All pads meet international safety standards and routinely pass regulatory reviews.
Can be worn underneath a bra to help the area continue to heal while absorbing leaking milk.
Deliver a fast solution that allows you to find instant relief during the early days of breastfeeding and prevents you from interrupting your baby’s feeding.
Help reduce infection risks, which can worsen when a cracked or irritated nipple fails to heal.
Upon using Nursicare pads, the majority of new mothers (94%) experience relief, with broken skin healing within a week on average.
Other Features
- Halt any pain related to overactive nerve cells.
- Encourage the healing process for breastfeeding-related sores while protecting the nipple against friction and infection.
- Help nipples remain soft as the area heals without the need to apply a separate cream.
How to use a Nursicare® Pad:
- Clean and moisten the nipple and surrounding skin with a damp cloth.
- Remove the pad from its sterile packaging and insert it inside your bra. The labeled side should face outward, and the plain side should be centered against your nipple.
- To nurse, remove the pad and place the unlabeled side upward on a clean surface. Wipe the breast with a clean cloth or towelette before pumping or having your baby feed.
- Re-insert the pad after you have finished breastfeeding. Pads can be worn for two or three days or until saturated.
- Change the pad once it becomes saturated and liquid seeps through to the labeled side.
