Proprietary Smart Material
Smart polymers allow for such adaptability. This proprietary material senses the wound’s local condition before getting rid of dead or damaged tissue and provides a high degree of absorbency. This helps with moving and controlling exudate.
These properties work to prevent maceration and desiccation without harming existing tissue or drying out the wound.
How it Works
The dressing’s autolytic process loosens the wound’s solid and viscous substances and draws them in with the exudate.
- Helps debride dead tissue and reduce any odors.
- Assists with healing delayed or chronic wounds that have not yet responded to other treatments.
Depending upon the amount of fluid, the patient may leave the dressing on for as long as seven days.
