Cutimed® Sorbion® dressings featuring Hydration Response Technology™ (HRT) utilizes a unique combination of mechanically modified cellulose fibers and gel-forming superabsorbent polymers with a polypropylene outer layer.

The interaction between the cellulose fibers and the gel-forming superabsorbent polymers (SAPs), which are able to absorb and lock away large quantities of exudate.
